The house for sale – a steal

The home of the parents of a crooked South Wales ‘Estate Agent’ exposed exclusively by The Eye who had his legs broken when a drug deal soured has been reduced by almost £20,000 in order to sell it, we can reveal.

Documents show that the house of Howard Williams’ father in Treharris is now for sale at £380,000, when it had been on the market for £399,950 in May.

A phone mast in the garden?

Marketing material for the property states:  “The owners rent a small section of garden to a communications company and get an income of £5,500 pa for the siting of a telecommunications mast”.

The price for the home of Bill Williams and his wife is now approaching the figure set by another Estate Agency which, it seems, they were unhappy with and moved companies, when the offer price was advertised as “in the region of £345,000”.

The Williams family are used to Cardiff jail

Bill Williams had described his son Howard as a “complete crook” yet has also told The Eye how he and his wife were forced to spend part of a Christmas day outside Cardiff jail to be near their son inside who was serving one of his many sentences.

Over 10 years, Howard Williams’ jail terms have totalled four years four months, and they have involved 25 counts of deception.

Apart from dealing in illegal drugs he has been made bankrupt three times and he has fleeced countless innocent people.

Howard Williams worked with a man who grew cannabis

After conning customers in so-called property ‘deals’, Howard Williams changed his name to James Daniels and was in charge of evenings at the ‘Discoteca CopyRight Roldan’ in Spain, but new adverts for it were removed after our earlier reports about him on The Eye.

Even though our articles on the house sale are drawn from publicly-available documents, Bill Williams appeared unhappy at our reporting of them.

He wrote on our Facebook page:  i have tried to contact you to tell you this is our house a fact that you choose to ignore {this has not been ignored} (why let the truth spoil a good story) please can you remove this article.at the end of the day this is NOT HOWARD WILLIAMS/JAMES DANIELS HOUSE it ours!!!!!!”.

Howard Williams was no stranger to the law

In this statement Mr Williams senior, follows a noted tradition.

The following angry comment was also posted on our Facebook page earlier this year, by someone describing himself as Howard Williams, with a profile picture of a sunny beach and a man with a large stomach: “You write total lies about people, bully to the point of harassment and suicide, and will not answer a direct email (The Eye has had none from a Howard Williams)? This is not journalism this is a mixture of Phil Parry (The ex journalist) and (others) you are pure scum!!!!! Let it be publicly known that The Eye does NOT care about people it just lies to make fictitious stories up. BULLYING, LIES, MENTAL HEALTH ABUSE TO NAME BUT A FEW!!!!!”.

Was the abusive Facebook comment from THE crooked Howard Williams?

Soon afterwards, came another from a different person which was less insulting but bore striking similarities with the earlier one.

Again on our Facebook page this person wrote:  “Quick question I have contacted you before (no contact has been made with this individual) and had no reply… it was a question of where to send info for a possible story but now I’ve read all your articles and you seem to be harassing people not reporting? your post today refers to targets not story’s (sic) so are you hate campaigners/reporters or journalists? confused”.

The house Williams ‘property expert’ does not even own

Problems in the property market have long been a feature in the life of the Williams family.

Despite claiming he is a property ‘expert’ we showed how Howard Williams did not actually own the house advertised as the headquarters of one of his ‘businesses’.

Howard Williams’ other business dealings have also been less than successful.

He has said he performed at expensive property ‘seminars’ in upmarket hotels or golf clubs around South Wales – but customers there were duped once again.

Howard Williams conned people at property ‘seminars’

For £299 potential clients were tempted with a “Special Offer February Deal – Sourcing and rent to rent training weekend”.

The ‘special offer’ was removed from Williams’ Facebook site, where he was known as ‘The Shoes’, soon afterwards, and when The Eye contacted the golf club involved, officials had no record of it taking place.

At one property event in the South of England The Eye were told that an investor had lost £30,000 with Williams.

Howard Williams ‘sold’ or ‘rented out’ villas but disappeared with the deposits

We disclosed how in another company after changing his name  he ‘sold’ or ‘rented out’ luxury villas at Murcia in Spain, but customers complained that he disappeared after pocketing deposits worth thousands of pounds.

On a property website, the anger of one individual is clear:  “He (Williams/Daniels) makes you pay circa £10k deposit and then disappears into the sunset”.

Even inside his own ‘organisations’ Williams’ methods are clear, with his former partner explaining to us how he was also conned.

Sam McManus (also known as ‘Georgeson’) told us:  He (Williams) has fooled many people and I can only be grateful that there are good investigative journalists like you guys who expose greedy people like him.

Sam McManus/Georgeson – another victim of Williams’ ‘greed’

“It is embarrassing to admit that I am yet another victim of his greed”.

Response to our revelations has been enormous.

One of our readers said:  The guy (Howard Williams/James Daniels) is a compulsive liar.

“4 years for 23 (sic) convictions seems pathetic to me.

“Not enough intelligence to rehabilitate from what’s clearly a mental illness.

“Let’s hope the next drug deal goes bad too!”

A conman (on the left) talks on YouTube of his property ‘expertise’

Another said: “Howard Williams, AKA James Daniels is alive and well and living on El Valle Golf Resort, Murcia, Spain”.

A further source called him “a conman”.

Let us hope the parents of Howard Williams/James Daniels are not also being conned by reducing the money they want for the family home which has a telephone mast in the garden.
